So it turns out there are some folks out there who would rather I not dig further into this story and I'm apparently being targeted in some fashion. So how do I know to watch my back? One of my readers, my faithful flock of justice, turned me on to a warning message that read: "...Tell me this isn't another one of your friends? Take care of this!" It was apparently scrawled on some of the finest investigative reporting out there, mine! That's right, they defaced these very Tattles!
Who do you think might have sent that one, hmmmm? Well, not mentioning names, someone thinks I am getting a little too close for comfort, methinks. True, I did get the name of the actual killer wrong and for that, I am seriously sorry, but as for Chorazos involvement? I'm certain that I'm dead on, baby! While some of you might think I am being a little too casual about this but rest assured, I take this very seriously and am not reckless. I do understand that there are seriously dangerous people (and more?) out there that quite possibly mean to do me and others harm. It's just that I am a firm believer of the old axiom: If you're pissing them off, you're doing something right! To quote another late, great American: "I gotta be me!"
In all seriousness, you might get me. I remember what happened to Karen Silkwood and other brave souls who dared go after evil. But if we don't, who will?
