It seems like the Tarot Killer's foray into small town America was a one-time affair, As he has recently been spotted in Anderson, Indiana, a medium city (large town?) of some 50,000 people some 40 miles Northeast of Indianapolis. A far cry from the 1,400 or so in Mt. Gilead, last week, for sure. But fortunately for us, one of my faithful readers spotted 1 TK among those 50k last Wednesday Night.

Sitting inside a small roadside diner eating a noxious creation known as Hoosier Sugar Cream Pie, the TK (Bryce Droher? Alan Camacho?) was apparently scared off when a bus boy screamed at the sight of the TK's "companion," a bloody Teddy bear. It seems that the poor kid was traumatized as a child when one of his more cruel babysitters "murdered" his Teddy and the sight of the TK with a bloody bear sent him over the edge. The killer then lit out like a house afire (but not before paying the check and grabbing the pie). For all his flaws, the fiend is apparently a model customer. "A real nice, quiet feller," a waitress told the Tattles, "...Ceptin' that bloody bear, a' course. Good tipper, too!"

And lucky for at least one brave soul, that bloody bear was all the Tarot Killer was hanging on to at that diner. The Tattles has heard from a young woman who goes by the online pseudonym of Chixor about her foray into the Indiana Wilderness last Wednesday. Lost in Mounds State Park for hours on a hunt of her own, was she being hunted by this mad man? Having seen the face of evil up close, this reporter shudders to think of this woman all alone in his vicinity. Now, clearly, TK found something to bloody up that night, but Chixor managed to escape with her life and return another day. That's right, she returned on Thursday to complete her hunt for hidden treasures and lucky for her, the Tarot Killer was scared out of town by that screeching bus boy. You see, Thursday night was a new moon!

Another potential victim, known only as Lillian, was in the park that evening recording chilling sounds for Lizzie Riley, a noted professor at Miskatonic University and new podcaster discussing the "power of sound" on her regular show, Signals. The ‘cast sounds like a bunch of gibberish and experimental science to this novice, but one of the more interesting elements is a series of satellite images with “points” on them and it's clear that at least three of these points coincide with locations visited by the Tarot Killer – could he be a twisted fan of hers? If so, he’s probably keen to learn that Lillian discovered strange sounds emanating from both the mound and a nearby tree stump.

I must tell you, faithful and loyal readers, that this is getting weirder than I could have imagined and it's making me more and more determined to get to the bottom of this. A Serial killer who leaves no bodies who may (or may not) be a lunatic trying to raise the dead, a mysterious techno-cult who may (or may not) have caused the death of at least 5 people, a security firm who may (or may not) be looking to harm yours truly and now a professor who goes on about sounds and mounds.... The mind boggles!

No matter, my friends! Eddie is on the case and he'll get his story and reveal the evil, wherever it may hide! You can be sure of that!
