eXu and The Dreamscape: What? What!? WHAT!!??

Speaking of crazy people. We here at the Tattles have been digging in the dirt, so's to speak and have discovered or rather, we think we have discovered a deeper, much darker story than what we originally thought was a serial killer. So the rambling "Old Guy" up at the Cloisters? We think he's much more involved here and as hard as it is for us to switch gears so quickly, we'll give it a shot.

Sentry Rowan, in her exemplary write up of last Friday's events, refers to the Old Guy as "eXu.," who is, according to the sentries, a colleague of Dr. Riley. We now have reason to believe that he is also the "Old Professor" that our friend from Boston mentions in this issue's mailbag and possibly much, much more.

We've been wondering as to the identity of Dr. Gateson, the man who we interviewed about Bryce Droher, for some time. It's clear that some of what he revealed in the interview was less than honest and that Bryce is not a killer. Is he the one who released Bryce from the hospital?

At The Cloisters, Art was terrified and ran off even after Bryce agreed to make "the sacrifice." Could the impending visit from eXu be the reason? Why would Art be afraid of him? We now know Art's been the one traveling the country, placing the caches for Bryce, but where did he get them? How did he know where to place them?

Looking back over the recent weeks, it seems like there are too many coincidences going on, here. Art gets the belongings of the dead sentries from someone, places them in the same places that Dr. Riley is (supposedly independently) researching and where Bryce (also supposedly independently) shows up. After weeks of this, it all culminates in New York where a man, eXu, who has not been seen for months suddenly shows up, terrifies Art and uses the Sentries as messengers, bearing a rather terrifying, threatening letter to Spooky Whosiewhatsit who also turns up in a video threat from someone on /fallout/ that mentions the same name and seems to threaten the Sentries and eXu.

Turns out (also courtesy of Rowan) that eXu is known as "The Drummer" in the alternate dimension called The Dreamscape. It seems to us here at Tattles, that the whole Tarot Killer thing was a smoke screen and it might not have been one generated by my pal from Boston, either. Could it be that eXu is the "man behind the curtain?" What about this Spooky guy?

Whatever the answers are, it's clear that this isn't over and while it might take some time to wrap our heads around this one, we here at Tattle's HQ will be on the case. So until there's news, stay safe and stay frosty, my friends! Eddie's not even close to being done, gentle readers and he'll poke his head back out when it's time.
